Yadagiri: Shocked at three year old's death, two women collapse to death

Yadagiri, Jun 7: Two women rushed a three-year-old male child to a distant hospital. But after the doctors declared the child brought dead, both the women suffered heart attack and collapsed to the ground.

The heart-rending story of three deaths in a family on the same day unfolded in a family residing in Kodala village in Vadagera taluk in the district on Wednesday June 6. The incident has shaken the village so much that all the families there are mourning the deaths together.

Pradeep Abrahim (3) from the village was suffering from diarrhea since the last three to four days. As the family felt the need for advanced healthcare for the child in view of its serious condition, the child was brought to the district hospital in the town by an ambulance. Unknown to the family members, the child had breathed its last before reaching the hospital.

As soon as the doctors checked the boy and declared that the boy was no more, his grandmother, Shantamma, and aunt, Bhagyamma, collapsed on the spot and died. When the three bodies reached the village, people became grief-stricken. A large number of people made a beeline to the home of the family to console grieving family members.
