Udupi, Jun 9: “A well planned conspiracy by the Congress party is behind cattle theft in Perdoor on May 30 and the death of Hussainabba,” alleged BJP chief secretary of Udupi, Kuyiladi Suresh Nayak.

He said, “Perdoor Shanarabettu resident Deepak Hegde is the kingpin behind the incident. He was the Congress supported panchayat member in Perdoor. Deepak had called deceased Hussainabba for selling him fourteen cows including those in his house. He later called up Bajrang Dal activists and also sent a message to them when Hussainabba was loading the cows in a Scorpio vehicle.

“It was a well-planned conspiracy. The way Congress leaders were engrossed in giving the names of Hindu groups to the police after the incident shows clearly that there was a secret plan behind it. Therefore, the police department should take into custody Congress activists in Perdoor and expose the conspiracy. Now that the police have arrested Deepak Hegde, they should consider him as the first accused in the case,” he said.
