Jubail: Kannangar Welfare Association Organizes Iftar Party

Jubail, Sep 22: Kannanagar Welfare Association , Jubail Saudi Arabia organized a grand Ifthar party or  ‘’ NOMBU THORAKDE” as it is  popularly known in Beary Language at Jubail Corniche on 19th September. The party was attended by around 100 Kannangarians and other well wishers. 

Mohammed Ashraf Belief - President of the association welcomed the gathering  and spoke about the importance of fasting and IFTHAAR occasions. He also used the opportunity to brief the attendees the objectives of the Kannangar Welfare Association.




 


Kannangar Welfare Association has been formed with a noble intention to extend helping hand to the poor and needy people in and around Kannangar. The Association is already very active in lending supportive hand to marriages of the poor and sponsoring scholarships to the poor students. The KWA has vision to establish a women’s college in Kannangar, adopt poor students to support their complete education, conduct periodical health camps.   

Jamal Abuswalih - Genaral Secretary of KWA,  briefed financial status of  KWA and laid out budget for  future plans. Mr. Abbas Hajee, a senior member of the association gave the golden guidelines to the youth and called the youth to pledge commitment and cooperation toward the activities of the organization. Mr. Shahul Hameed lead the Magrib Salah and  recited Quraan
