Dubai, Jun 20: The much-awaited 'Kala Festh' under the banner of Precious Parties and Entertainment Services is all set to entertain the audience of UAE in Emirates Theatre, Jumeirah on Friday June 22.
'Kala Festh', a first of its kind in the UAE, will enthrall the audience with songs by well-known artistes of UAE under the leadership of Patrick Pereira, together with well-known singer Avith Lobo and Lydwyn, electrifying dances by 'Konkan Yuva', an energetic youth team of St Mary’s Church, Dubai representing Mangalurean community.
To add spice to the event, Konkani theatre's 'Comedy Prince' Pradeep Barboza Paladka is all set with his 'Sangon Mugdhana Kalakar' team to stage his brand new drama 'Vechogi Raavncho' which is sure to create a laugh riot.
With this drama, Pradeep has brought a new concept for the first time in Dubai. The drama is a blend of family story, comedy to its fullest, tragedy, suspense and fight, in short, a drama that is a full package of entertainment to all segments of the crowd. Besides directing it, Pradeep Barboza is also acting in this drama, supported by Alphons D'Souza, Godwyn Castelino, Royston Kiran D'Souza, Vernon D'Souza, Paul Paladka, Nanu Marol Thottam, Helwyn D'Souza, Laveena Fernandes and Venicia Rodrigues. Music is by Rohan Kalakul.
Main coordinator of 'Saangon Mugdhana Kalakar' Diany D'Souza is organizing and coordinating the entire event. Asked about tickets, he said, "It is Pradeep Barboza's drama. Our audience know that any drama by Pradeep is worth every penny. Within two days of the ticket release, all the AED 30 tickets were sold out. Now we are left with very few AED 50 and AED 75 tickets. The demand is huge and I am sure it will be a housefull show."
Pradeep Barboza said, "I feel very proud of the achievements of my team. Our team along with Konkan Yuva has put in full efforts to make this a memorable show. It is because of my audience that I have reached where I am today. Their support to this drama too has been extraordinary. Definitely, the audience will enjoy this unique show.
