ICYM’s Bantwal unit observes Environment Day

Bantwal, Jun 25: The members of Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Bantwal unit observed Environment Day at Infant Jesus Church, Modankap on Sunday, June 24.

Fr Maxim Noronha, parish priest in his address, emphasized the need for protecting environment and to start the process of preserving it at individual level. He highlighted the need of traditional over synthetic medicines.

Varieties of medicinal plants were planted around the church premises and herbal medicines (kashaya) were distributed to all.



Fr Ashwin Crasta, assistant parish priest, Sandeep Menezes, vice-president parish council, Richard D’Souza, secretary, parish council, Avinash Jeevan D’Souza, president, ICYM Bantwal, members and parishioners witnessed the programme.
