Mangaluru: Spectrum Industries bags Business Excellence State Winner Award

Mangaluru, Jun 25: City based Spectrum Industries was conferred the Business Excellence State Winner Award for 2018.

Jeevan Saldanha, chief executive, Spectrum Industries received the FKCCI (Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce & Industry) Business Excellence State Award at Sir M Visveswaraya Auditorium, Bengaluru on June 19. He received the award from Rajya Sabha MP Prof Rajeev Gowda in the presence of president of FKCCI K Ravi and vice-president Sudhakar Shetty.

Jeevan Saldanha is the founder and owner of Mangaluru-based Spectrum Industries, pioneer in the manufacture of high-end colour-sorters in India since 1993, with manufacturing facilities spread over two industrial estates. His recent one-year tenure as the president of the 77-year-old Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has inevitably thrown him into public focus in Dakshina Kannada district and beyond.
