Bantwal, Jul 29: Some students of a school fought with each other on Saturday July 28. In this incident, one of the students suffered serious injuries and was admitted into hospital.

The injured student was Abhishek (13), an eighth standard student of a private educational institution near Vamadapadav in the taluk. Abhishek's condition was stated to be serious. He is being treated in the intensive care unit of a private hospital at Mangaluru, it is gathered.

It is said that at the time the school time was over on Saturday afternoon, friction arose between Abhishek and two students of his class on a silly matter. It is said that after this, the two students together attacked Abhishek. Abhishek, who looked pale as if all his energy had drained away, was taken by other students to his grandfather's residence nearby. The students had brought this issue to the attention of teachers, who referred the student to a local medical practitioner. Abhishek, whose condition turned serious by then, was admitted into a private hospital at Thumbay and then into a private hospital at Mangaluru as he was found to be in need of high level treatment. Parents of the student said that he is being looked after in the intensive care unit of the hospital and that he is out of danger now.

Mother of Abhishek, Bharati, filed complaint in Punjalkatte police station about the incident. The station house officer summoned parents of the students and head of the school management committee and gathered details from them.

Punjalkatte station house officer said that no case was registered relating to this incident.

So sad.... It's very hurting to know that other students were watching the fight and once Abhishek became pale, they informed his grand parents and brought to the notice of the teachers. They could have done it in the beginning itself.

In the schools classes should be there how to live in Harmony and in love towards one another rather than big big Chapters in different subjects which our students by heart and score high.

Get well soon Abhishek... God bless

The two students who beat abishek will become great criminals if not given treatment of corrective action. All students who witnessed this incident must be counselled or impression of this incident may make them also cruel one day. The parents of the two rowdy students must given some important principle of life how children be brought up.
