Udupi, Oct 19: The seventh annual Tulu drama competition for the Kemtoor Drama Award, instituted in the memeory of the late Kemtoor Doddanna Shetty by Udupi Tulukoota, will be organised during the last week of December this year, in Udupi.
Interested and eligible Tulu amateur drama troupes can participate in the competition. A maimum of seven troupes in all, will be selected for the competition. Winning teams will get prizes. In addition, those who excel in different categories during the competition, will also be rewarded.
Interested Tulu amateur drama troups may write to Udyavar Nagesh Kumar, Coastal Printing Press, Udyavar - 574 118, Udupi (Phone: 9845559186) for entry forms. Entry forms should be submitted before November 15, said Tulukoota president Dr Bhaskaranand Kumar.
