Billavara Association Mumbai president visits BMC mayor in city

Mumbai, Aug 31: Billavara Association, reputed organization of Tulu Kannadigas here has provided immense service in social, economic, educational, cultural and spiritual spheres for the last 86 years and grown as a model organization in the city.

It has succeeded in forming coordination committees and local committees and getting their facilities to reach people.

Billavara Association president Chandrashekar S Poojary, Shanker Suvarna Khar and Jagannath Ameen Mulund met Vishwanath Mahadeshwar, mayor of Mumbai on August 31 at 10 am at mayor's bungalow, Shivaji park.

They requested for name plate at Gurunarayan Road, repairs of road opposite Billava Bhavan, drainage and footpath.

Shiv Sena south Mumbai's Panduranga Satpal and Rajiv Bootkar were present.
