Mumbai: Bunts Sangha Amba committee holds Disha programme

Mumbai, Sep 3: The Andheri Bandra regional committee of Bantara Sangha, held 'Disha', a programme of adopting families and students at K M Shetty auditorium, Kurla east on Saturday, September 1.

Fifteen Bunts community families and 65 students were adopted on the occasion. Office bearers of the regional committee were present. Joint secretary, Mahesh S Shetty said that it is the first time that such a valuable programme is being held by the regional committee. “It has awakened us and encouraged us to serve the society better. Far-sighted committee president R K Shetty, Vinitha Nonda and office bearers are our pride,” he said.



Suchitra Shetty sang a prayer song. Regional committee vice president, advocate R G Shetty welcomed the gathering. Honorary secretary Ravi R Shetty announced the annual activities. Joint secretary Ramesh D Rai read the list of beneficiaries. Bantaravani monthly magazine editor Ashok Pakkala introduced the guests and compered the programme.

Treasurer Karunaker V Shetty thanked everyone.
