Mumbai: Sri Krishna Janmashtami celebrated at Pejavar math

Mumbai, Sep 4: Sri Krishna Janmastami and traditional Vitla Pindi festival was held at Pejavar math, Santacruz east on Sep 3.

The programme consisted of several religious rituals and cultural programmes. Poornaprajna Vidyapeeta honorary president Dr A S Rao lit the lamp and inaugurated the programme. Fancy dress competition 'Krishna Vesha' was held for children.



S N Udupa, IITC director Vikranth Urval, Murali Bhat Dombivli, Ravi Suvarna, Pejavara math Mumbai branch manager Prakash Acharya Ramakunja, Ramadas Upadhyaya Rejala, Hari Bhat, Niranjan Gogte, Mukund Baithamangalkar, Srinivas Bhat Parel, Vidwan Arvind Bannintaya, Sudhir R L Bhat and a large number of devotees were present.
