Bengaluru: Youth involved with car accident breathes his last

Bengaluru, Sep 12: A youth, identified as Purushottam (20), resident of Gangabairappana Palya in Nelamangala taluk, who had suffered grave injuries after his car tumbled on the night of Monday September 10 on the national highway at Makali, breathed his last on Monday. He was being treated in a hospital.

Naveen and Chethan from Dasarapura, and Rakesh from Bagalukunte, who were in the said car, are under treatment, have shown signs of improvement in their condition. The car was completely mangled in the accident.

Purushottam's father, an ex-serviceman, had died five years ago due to ill health. Thereafter, Purushottam is said to have discontinued studies to look after his family. He was pillar of support for the family, and his death has come as a bolt from the blue for his mother, Premakumari, who works as teacher, and younger sister.
