Mangaluru, Sep 14: Rajya Sabha member Oscar Fernandes along with his wife Blossom Fernandes on Friday, September 14, visited bishop-elect Dr Peter Paul Saldanha.

The newly appointed bishop reminded the MP that he was in high school when he saw him for the first time and also said that he remembers his words.

MP Oscar wished Dr Peter Paul Saldanha well and said that he admired Dr Peter’s simplicity and also that he will be a great shepherd of the diocese.

Outgoing bishop Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza and advocate M P Noronha, secretary of Mangaluru diocese, were present.
