Udupi, Sep 17: A three-month-old baby died under strange circumstance on the morning of September 15 at Bandashale near Padur of Shirva.

Sanvi, daughter of Hanumanthamma is the baby child who died while she was being breastfed by her mother. Hanumanthamma works as a domestic help in one of the houses in Padur. She was breastfeeding her baby when the lady owner of the house asked Hanumanthamma to give meals to her. Hanumanthamma suddenly left the baby and went to the kitchen in order to serve the meal to her owner lady.

It is learnt that the baby cried in a loud voice as soon as Hanumanthamma left her and did not give any response and its head got tilted to one side. Though the baby was rushed immediately to Ajjarakadu district hospital, the doctors said that the baby is already breathed its last.

It is suspected that the baby would have choked as the mother suddenly stopped feeding. A case in this connection is registered in the Shirva police station.

    Nothing is important than our kids.. the lady owner might have been very dominating or rude towards the worker.. Couldn't that owner wait for few more minutes for breakfast of meals.... the worker out of fear of loosing job might have rushed to give the meals... a mother of 3 months baby coming to work shows how poor she might be.... sad that she lost her beautiful baby.... the owner should be questioned... isnt she a mother

    Very strange.when the lady stopped feeding the child,left it,cried loud and head tilted one side.Its not normal doubt here something is gone or done wrong?otherwise cry loud ?Sometime cildren cry when interference.owner had seen she is feeding her baby.could have waited for few minutes or self could help.otherwise why exactly at that time .Mysterious.Heartfelt sympathy to the woman.Here was a post martum would be very helpful.suppose baby got choked ,wouldnt cry loud or atleast would have made unusual move ments.may the soul of child rest with angels .
