Kasargod, Sep 19: In an incident which happened in Yedaneeru in the district on Tuesday September 18 morning, a teacher hanged herself.
The lady who ended her life was Jeshma (26) from Yedaneeru Kalari. She was working as maths teacher at the government higher secondary school, Ydaneeru, on temporary basis. On Tuesday, she was preparing to leave for school. On this occasion, she suddenly went into her room. As she did not return for long, family members went in and found to their dismay that she had hanged herself inside the room.
Reasons behind the teacher taking this drastic step are unknown as yet. Vidyanagar station police personnel conducted inquest. A case relating to her death was registered in Vidyanagar police station.
