Chikkamagaluru, Sep 19: Shringeri MLA T D Rajegowda said that he will not get caught in operation Kamala even if somebody takes him and makes him sit on the seat of chief minister.

“BJP people are tempting with offers of power and money. Few BJP leaders have personally telephoned me. They are asking me through those who are known to me to leave the party. But I will never leave congress party,” said T D Rajegowda.

“I am in the news because I reached late by four hours for the meeting of legislature in Bengaluru. I am not the one who makes news. It has rained more than the past 34 years. There was huge loss of lives and cultivation exceeding a thousand crore. The government has provided compensation to farmers. I am trying to make it reach the farmers. I have indulged in the development of our constituency. I am not a part of confused politics,” he said to the news reporters.
