Brahmavar: Man goes down well, drowns accidentally

Brahmavar, Sep 19: A man who went down a well drowned in standing water of the well. This incident happened at Uddalagudde in Hanehalli village on Monday September 17 afternoon.

The deceased happens to be Suresh (32) from Mastinagara in Uddalagudde. Reportedly, a local, Ronald D'Souza, had asked Suresh to go down the public well to fetch a pitcher that had accidentally fallen into it. Suresh however drowned.

Brother of the deceased, Sunil, filed a complaint in Brahmavar police station accusing Ronald D'Souza of being responsible for this accidental death as he blamed him for sending Suresh down the well without undertaking any safety measures. The police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
