Mangaluru, Sep 19: A press conference was held at Our Lady of Remedies Church, Kirem on the felicitation of Bishop of the diocese, Dr Peter Paul Saldanha.
Fr Victor D’Mello chaired the conference outlining the felicitation programme which will be held on September 23 at 9 am.
After welcoming the bishop to Moorukaveri, a procession of parishioners from Pompei College to the church will set off for a eucharistic celebration by Bishop Dr Peter Paul Saldanha and Bishop of Gulbarga diocese Dr Robert Miranda.
There will then be a felicitation programme at Kirem church hall from 11 am.
MLA of Mulki-Moodbidri constituency, Umanath Kotian will also be present.
Parish priest, Fr Victor D’Mello; assistant priest, Fr Jayaprakash; vice president, Burton Sequeira; secretary, Anita D’Souza; programme coordinator, Santhan Dsouza and publicity incharge, Naizil Rodrigues were present at the conference.
