Udupi, Sep 19: 'Yeya Hasya' competition was organized for every ward of Udyavar church by ICYM on September 16 at St Francis Xavier Church Hall, Udyavar.
The programme was presided over by assistant parish priest Fr Rolwyn Aranha. The chief guests were Erol Gonsalvis, and Lawrence D'Sa.
The vice-president of the parish Melwyn Noronha, secretary Michael D’Souza, Udyavara unit ICYM animator Rithesh D’souza, Asha Pinto, ICYM Udyavar unit president Delan Aroza and secretary Melissa Danthi were present to witness the programme.
The judges for this event were Fr Anil Prakash castelino and Marvin Shirva. As many as 14 teams participated in the event and best 3 were selected and felicitated. Nithyadar ward were the winners, Conception ward were the 1st runners-up, and Piad A ward were the 2nd runners-up.
Parish priest Fr Stany B Lobo and assistant Fr Rolwyn Aranha were thanked for their support and guidance.
