Kundapur, Sep 19: A public protest is planned by elected representatives and people near Sastan toll gate on September 20.

As there is no response from government for past protests held against incomplete, improper and unscientific works, service road construction, drainage, street lights, safety in accident prone areas and exemption from toll for KA 20 vehicles, mass protests will be held with elected representatives, local groups and people on September 20 from 8 am at Sastan toll gate.

MP Shobha Karandlaje, opposition party leader Kota Srinivas Poojary, MLA Haladi Srinivas Shetty, Vidhan parishad member K Pratapchandra Shetty, MLA Raghupathi Bhat, state INTUC president Rakesh Mally, Kota block Congress president Shanker Kunder, Kundapur block BJP president Suresh Shetty Kadooru, JDS president Prakash Shetty, zilla panchayat and taluk panchayat members will take part.
