Mangaluru: Apostolic Carmel Sisters felicitate, welcome Bishop Peter Paul Saldanha

Mangaluru, Sep 19: Newly ordinated Bishop Peter Paul Saldanha was accorded an official welcome by the sisters of the Apostolic Carmel from the diocese of Mangaluru, organized by the provincial superior.

Sisters from 16 Convents under the jurisdiction of the Mangaluru diocese were present for the Eucharistic celebration offered by the Bishop, after which, the sisters felicitated the bishop.

The Superiors of various convents in the name of the entire community pledged their love and loyalty to the newly elected bishop. Sr Marilda gave a brief profile of the bishop and Sr Rose Agnes compered the programme.
