Mangaluru, Sep 19: Dakshina Kannada journalists association felicitated newly ordained bishop most Rev Dr Peter Paul Saldanha at the Bishop’s house, Kodialbail on Wednesday, September 19.
Association president Srinivas Nayak Indaje, vice president Dayananda Kukkaje, chief secretary Ibrahim Adkastala, secretary Jithendra Kundeshwara, state executive committee member Jagannath Shetty Bala and other office bearers were present.
Bishop said that journalists are the eyes of society. “They are the ones who correct lapses in the society. They should give priority for human values,” he said.
Diocese public relations officer Fr Victor Vijay Lobo was present.
