Kalaburagi, Sep 23: The friend of a lady studying in the Central University of Krnataka at Kadaganchi in Aland taluk in the district was murdered. It is said that he was killed on the night of Friday September 21.
The deceased happened to be the friend of a girl student of second year MA degree course of the university. The deceased, identified as Prasad (23) from Bhalki in Bidar district, had celebrated his birthday in the company of his friend. It is said that two persons committed his murder. A knife was found inserted into his chest and because of heavy bleeding, he died before he could be admitted into a hospital.
This murder has spread a sense of fear in the university campus. A case relating to the murder stands registered in Narona police station.
