Bantwal: Parish priest of Modankap church Fr Maxim Lawrence Noronha accorded grand farewell

Modankap, Sep 24: The day was mellow but the air rich as an emotional farewell was organized on September 23 to honour and thank parish priest Fr Maxim Norohna for his memorable stay at Bantwal parish for the past 5 years 4 months. He is appointed as the vicar general of the Mangaluru diocese.

The programme started with prayer. The chief hosts assistant parish priest Fr Ashwin Crasta, parish priest of Thodambila Fr Kiran Pinto, vice president Sandeep Menezes, secretary Richard D'Souza, superior of Carmel Convent Sr Supriya, Fr J B Moras, various committee members, teachers and guests were present.



The ensemble choir group of Bantwal parish created a perfect ambience with a befitting musical tribute to Fr Maxim. Fr Ashwin Crasta spoke on Fr Maxim's stay at Bantwal parish and how he touched the many lives he intended to mould and many significant moments that spoke highly about him and his well-intended works which always aimed at inspiring the parishioners.

The address of Fr Maxim saw him go through an emotion as he thanked the parishioners for being with him through the thick and thin as his support and strength. Various committee presidents and secretaries along with their member fraternity thanked him for his graciousness and wished him a blissful journey ahead with plentiful accomplishments and unparalleled success.
