Indeed delighted to note that the City of Dammam became the spotlight for the Konkany singing competition, and both Ralph D'Souza and Shalet D'Silva become the top winners.

We have always cherished the highest regard and affection for Dammam, Saudi Arabia where we have lived for more than twenty years, nearly forty years ago. Both our sons grew up happily in Dammam and went to Dhahran Academy where they built their initial educational foundation.

Dammam was a simple village, peaceful and prosperous, and we cherish some of the fondest memories of our simple life in Dammam where we did not have any car, any telephone or any other novelty of life. All that we had was a love and attachment for the desert, and the natives where we lived with full of peace and tranquility of life.

We wish best of luck to all the Organizers of "Aanghan Konknechen", and look forward to hearing many more encouraging highlights of Dammam, Saudi Arabia where we have established strong roots of dedication and respect towards life.
