Daijiworld TV 24x7 has officially announced its highly anticipated new weekly programming schedule, featuring a robust mix of six brand-new shows and three returning franchise favourites.








Broadcast in Kannada, Tulu, and Konkani, the new line-up aims to meet the high expectations of the channel's large and loyal viewer base.

1. Private Challenge – Season 5 (Tulu)
- Air Time: Every Sunday at 9.00 pm, starting July 5

Following a brief hiatus, one of the channel's highest-rated comedy shows returns for its fifth season. In an exciting twist, iconic comedian Aravind Bolar steps into the roles of director and story writer for the first time. The popular Bolar-Walter duo will be joined by renowned artistes from the Tulu, Kannada, and Konkani theatre industries to deliver wholesome family entertainment.
2. Danka Donka (Sitcom)
- Air Time: Every Saturday at 8.30 pm, starting early August
- Genre: Social Satire
Written and directed by Stany Bela, Production Director of Daijiworld Media, Danka Donka is a sharp social satire. The sitcom features popular Yakshagana artistes Sundar Bangadi and Sandesh Bellur, alongside celebrated Konkani actors Mellu Valencia and Cletus Lobo Urva. The show will also introduce Sakshi Shetty Kunjathbail in a pivotal role. Production is currently underway.
3. Undu Nataka (Tulu)
- Air Time: Every Friday at 8.30 pm, starting early August
- Genre: Drama Series
In a pioneering move for the Tulu theatre industry, Undu Nataka brings traditional stage plays to real-world locations. Spearheaded by veteran dramatist and writer Dinesh Attavar, the show adapts classic Tulu plays into semi-serial formats. Attavar has retained the original stage cast to maintain authenticity, promising visually rich storytelling that will resonate deeply with audiences.
4. Sannidhanam
- Air Time: Every Tuesday at 8.30 pm, starting August
- Genre: Cultural/Heritage Documentary
Conceptualised by the technical department of Daijiworld Media, Sannidhanam takes viewers on a spiritual journey to the remote and lesser-known temples of Tulunadu. Each episode will highlight the historical significance of these shrines, the communal harmony of the surrounding villages, and their unique temple traditions and offerings.
5. Kitab Ki Kahani
- Air Time: Every Thursday at 8.30 pm, starting August
- Genre: Literary/Educational
Dedicated exclusively to literature, Kitab Ki Kahani will serve as a bridge between authors and readers. The programme will introduce a wide range of books, offer critical reviews of their content, and feature profiles of veteran and contemporary authors, along with newly released titles.
6. Sierra Quiz Contest
- Air Time: Every Friday at 7.00 pm (Launched on July 3)
- Genre: Studio-Based Reality Quiz Show
Designed as a grand studio-based television championship, this programme provides students with a platform to showcase their intelligence, teamwork, and competitive spirit in a professional broadcasting environment.
7. Biri Biri Pavs – Season 5 (Konkani)
- Air Time: Every Tuesday at 9.00 pm, starting August
- Genre: Poetry Reality Show
Organised by Kavita Trust, a premier institution dedicated to Konkani poetry, the country's first poetry recitation reality show in Konkani returns for its fifth season. The competition is open to participants between the ages of 12 and 30.
8. Dotornecho Padryab (Konkani)
- Air Time: Every Thursday at 9.00 pm, starting August
- Genre: Religious/Educational
Initiated by the Infant Jesus Shrine, Bikarnakatte, this interactive programme focuses on the Catechism of the Catholic Church and aims to answer viewers' questions relating to religion, the Bible, Christianity, and the Church.
9. Bai (Konkani Serial)
- Air Time: Scheduled for mid-September
- Genre: Drama
Marking a major return to fiction programming after a brief hiatus, Daijiworld TV is launching Bai, a new Konkani television serial. Currently under production, the project is set to introduce a host of fresh faces to the Konkani entertainment industry. The serial generated tremendous interest even before filming began, attracting more than 300 aspiring actors to its casting auditions.

In addition to the main channel line-up, Daijiworld Udupi Studio has announced the return of the second seasons of its highly successful programmes, Swara Sagara (singing talent hunt) and Chanakhya Challenge (educational talent show).
