Mangaluru: Congress to publicise its achievements in run-up to LS polls

Mangaluru, Sep 27: AICC secretary Vishnunathan has called on Congress activists to start visiting people as per AICC directions to defeat in next Lok Sabha elections the Narendra Modi government which is directly involved in Rafale and such other scams and install Congress led government at the centre.

Speaking in a special meeting at Congress Bhavan, Mallikatte on Wednesday, September 26, he said that the campaign from October 2 to November 19 is meant to visit houses by appointing booth level delegation and make people aware of the achievements of past Congress governments.



Former minister B Ramanath Rai speaking in the meeting later said that it is necessary to explain to the young generation about the sacrifices of Gandhi family for the country and programmes provided for the poor. Congress leader Sudheer who was the resource person, asked the party activists to make the people understand the principles of Congress party.

KPCC office bearers, block presidents, presidents of units, Vidhan Sabha block presidents and office bearers were present.

District Congress president K Harish Kumar welcomed, explained the programmes for strengthening the party and rendered the vote of thanks.
