Bengaluru, Sep 27: In a macabre incident which happened within the limits of Hulimavu police station here on the night of Tuesday September 25, two security guards were brutally killed with an iron rod. The deceased have been identified as Vikram (25) and Saidulla (26) from Assam.

Three security guards had been employed to guard an 18-acre plot near Tajaswini Nagar in Doddakammanahalli where villa houses are being constructed. The construction workers who arrived for work on Wednesday morning, saw the two security guards in a pool of blood. They informed the police, who visited the spot and registered a case.

Deputy commissioner of police, Dr Boralingaiah, who visited the spot on coming to know about the murders, scrutinized the scene and guided the investigation. The third security guard is absconding and the police believe that he escaped after committing these murders. Hulimavu police are continuing with the investigation.
