Udupi, Sep 27: “If one has to grow in Jaycees, one should be active in Jaycee movement. We should first know ourselves and indulge in the movement. We expect a lot from Jaycees, but we should ask ourselves what we give to Jaycees. We are able to get huge experience from Jaycees. It is not sufficient if we indulge in the movement. We should give something to society,” said journalist and JCI zone 15 president Jaycee PPP Rakesh Kunjur. He was speaking in a hall programme after receiving felicitation during his visit to Udyavar Kutpadi unit.

“There is an atmosphere of unrest in the present society. Jaycee should propose peace setting aside such atmosphere,” he said.

He was welcomed at Balayipade here earlier. He inaugurated permanent projects of Jaycee Kutpady during the visit and presented a board to St Francis Xavier Kannada Medium Board High School, items useful for students, welcome board at Guddeangadi and board on blood donation awareness as well as the details of the people to be contacted during blood donation.

Zone fifteen vice president Jaycee Pashupathi Sharma and zonal president personal secretary Jaycee Srinivas Aithal spoke as per context.

Talented students were awarded scholarships. JCI Udyavar Kutpady unit president Jaycee Steven Colaco Udyavar chaired the programme.
