Udupi: Police personnel to be screened on eve of Heart Day at Kasturba Hospital Manipal

Udupi, Sep 27: As a part of the ‘World Heart Day’ observation, department of Cardiology, Kasturba Medical College and Hospital Manipal and department of CVT, SOAHS, MAHE Manipal will organise free heart health check-up programme for all the staff members of the Udupi district police force numbering about 500.

The police duty atmosphere is more challenging and round the clock work and hence they are more prone to develop BP, diabetes and cardiac diseases.

The free heart health check-up programme is scheduled on September 28 from 2 pm to 6 pm at Dr TMA PAI Halls, KMC Manipal.
