Bagalkote, Sep 28: "If the communal forces attain power, it is not possible for people to live a peaceful life. For the same reason, we have formed a coalition government. Under any circumstances, we will not allow this government to fall," said former CM and chairman of the coordination committee of the coalition government, Siddaramaiah.

Siddaramaiah was speaking to the media at Badami.

He further said, "When I was on the tour of Europe, a false propaganda was made that the coalition government is going to collapse. BJP was saying that the government may fall in a day or two. Did the government collapse? We will not allow the efforts of BJP to bring down the government. It is not possible also,"

"Lok Sabha elections are going to be held in the months of April or May of 2019. People should decide to keep the communal forces away. What Modi, who is ruling the country since four and half years, has done for the country?" he questioned.

Rs 40,000 crore scam by the central government

"Corruption to the tune of Rs 40,000 crore has taken place in the Rafale deal. This is the biggest scam in the history of Indian defence ministry. After Modi assumed the position of Prime Minister, an agreement to buy one war plane at a cost of Rs 1,670 crore was done. The contract of this deal is given to a company owned by Anil Ambani. Thereby HAL, a central government enterprise is cheated," said Siddaramaiah.
