Moodbidri: Four cows die in Padumarnadu due to lightning

Moodbidri, Sep 28: Four cows grazing at Tandrakere, Moodumarnadu in Padumarnadu gram panchayat limit have died due to lightning strike on Friday evening here.

Three of the cows belonged to local resident Sujatha and one to Sudhakar. The cows were grazing near their houses in the hills. Lightning struck a tree and the cows.

Gram panchayat president Srinath S Suvarna visited the spot.
