Mumbai, Oct 3: Sahitya Balaga as part of its silver jubilee celebrations held a programme titled 'Sadhakarige Sanmana' and released ten books of second series written by different authors at Vishweshateertha auditorium of Pejavar math on Sunday September 30.

The programme was chaired by well known author and scientist Dr Vyasarao Ninjoor. Industrialist Srinivas Kanchan and Suman Trust Yadgiri president Dr Mariappa Natekar who were present as guests of honour lit the lamp, set the programme in motion and released the works. Keshavarao Chipnunkar, M Hari Bhat, CA Subba Rao, Dr Laxmi Prasad, Jagannath P Putran and Krishnakumar L Bangera were felicitated.

Cultural programme including classical dances were presented. Shalini Rao and Anitha Acharya sang a prayer song. Sahitya Balaga president H B L Rao welcomed everyone and delivered the keynote address.

Anuradha Rao and Dr Karunaker Shetty compered the programme.
