Bantwal: Modankap Cricket Friends lends helping hands to various charity organisations

Bantwal, Dec 20: Modankap Cricket Friends who had spent years playing together for fun in the evenings, enjoying every bit realised that it was time to play for others for a better cause. ‘Humanity’, a charitable trust, a NGO directed them in a right path.

Roshan D'Souza from Belman runs this noble trust who is responsible behind thousands of smile. A group of energetic and committed youth from Bantwal (Modankap) took an initiative to support him by organising a cricket tournament ‘Humanity Cup 2k18’ for the benefit of poor and needy. Many showed their generosity and support by sponsoring trophies, cricket balls, backdrop, sound system, Bisleri (mineral water) and many other required things.



The donations of Rs 50,000 was given to Humanity Trust, Rs 5,000 Jeevadaan Charitable Trust, Rs 5,000 Snehasadan and Rs 5,000 to St Anthony’s Charity Institutions.
