Moodbidri: Kadubi community holds traditional ‘Vanabhojana’ programme

Moodbidri, Dec 20: ‘Vanabhojana’, a traditional nature worshipping programme of the Kadubi community was held with devotional fervour here at Neerkere Poomavarr in Tenkamijaru gram panchayath limits.

Neerkere Poomavar ward head Sanjeeva Gowda offered prayers to Vanadurga. They also offered fruits to the deity.

Idols of Mahammayi and Mahadeva made by the community members were installed during the programme. Later after the sunset the idols were immersed in river.

Neerkere Poomavar ward secretory Likith Raj(Lingappa Gowda, community members were present.
