Puttur, Dec 21: In a tragic incident which happened at Kedila village in the outskirts of the city on Thursday December 20, a polytechnic student hanged himself.
The deceased has been identified as Parvin Pais (19), resident of Karimajal in Kedila lvillage. He ended his life by tightening noose around his neck.
Parvin had gone to bed on Wednesday night. On Thursday morning he did not come out of his room for long. The family members who tried to wake him up from outside finally broke open the room door and found that Parvin's mortal remains were hanging from a rope.
Love affair is suspected to be the reason for this suicide. A case about the unnatural death was registered in the city police station here, on the basis of complaint filed by father of the deceased, Marcel Pais.
