Udupi, Dec 23: President Ramanath Kovind is scheduled to pay a visit to the district on December 27. DC Priyanka Mary Francis has ordered for certain changes in movement of traffic from 7 am till 4 pm.

Vehicles arriving from Malpe and Kalmadi should arrive via Kalmadi junction, Kidiyoor junction road, Ambalpadi welcome tower and Jodukatte road to reach Udupi.

Vehicles coming to Udupi from Kundapur, Brahmavar and Santhekatte should come via Ambagilu, Rasika bar junction, Doddanagudde, Manojigujji, law college junction, SMK junction and Beedinagudde. Vehicles approaching from Karkal, Hiriadka and Manipal should approach via SMK junction, Beedinagudde SMK junction and Beedinagudde mission compound.

Vehicles going to Malpe from Udupi should proceed via Jodukatte, Kinnimulki, Ambalpady-Kidiyoor Kalmady.

The president will visit circuit house and Udupi Sri Krishna math. Therefore, in view of security, shops from Udupi Sanskrit college gate, around Car Street and Rajangana should remain closed from 12 pm on December 26 till 3 pm on December 27. Public visits to Sri Krishna math are banned from 6 am till 3 pm during those days.
