Udupi: Bike-borne miscreants snatch leather bag from passerby

Udupi, Dec 26: Two bike-borne miscreants snatched a leather bag, containing valuables from the hands of a pedestrian on the late night of Tuesday December 25. This incident occurred near KMC hospital, Manipal near here.

The victim was walking from the Baliga block of the KMC hospital toward the ward for women and children. When he reached the signboard of the women and children ward, two accused who came on a Pulsar bike snatched the leather bag from Amshul's hands and sped away.

The leather bag contained a wallet having Rs 4500 in cash, ATM cards of SBI and HDFC banks, Apple Iphone worth Rs 80,000, Nokia mobile worth Rs 2000 and worth of the leather bag itself is Rs 1500. The total value of the stolen goods is Rs 87,800.

A case in this regard is filed in Manipal police station under column 392 of IPC section 34.
