Moodbidri, Dec 28: “A Christmas star prepared by three young men from Shirthady Life Group belonging to three different religions as a symbol of communal harmony won first prize at the Christmas star and crib competitions held by ICYM, Moodbidri zone,” said ICYM president Francis.
“The second prize in the competitions was bagged by Siddakatte St Patricks Church and third prize by Hosabettu Holy Cross Church.
Moodbidri Corpus Christi Church won first prize in crib competitions. The second and third prizes were bagged by Siddakatte St Patricks Church and by Paladka St Ignatius Loyola Church,” he said.
