Mangalore: Bangalore Triple Murder Accused Nabbed from City

Mangalore, Jan 28:  The police personnel belonging to Tilaknagar police station in Bangalore have succeeded in cracking the case of triple murder that occurred in Bangalore on January 20. Govind, the main accused in the case pertaining to the murder of Satyabhama (74), her daughter Vijayalaxmi (55) and daughter-in-law Jayashree (50) in the 22nd Main Road of the fourth T Block Jayanagar in Bangalore, was hiding here, the policemen said. The murder of women had taken left Bangaloreans shell shocked, sending a chill down the spines of women who remained lonely at home when the men and children attended schools and offices.

Govind, a native of the city, was working in New Shanti Upahar hotel in Jayanagar since the last couple of decades. He was well-known to the family of the slain women since long. Govind, a member of a finance company named 'Agritech' also introduced Jayashree as a member in the firm. Govind also had financial dealings with Jayashree regularly. Jayashree recently withdrew from the membership of the said firm, which angered Govind. Jayashree was to pay some money to Govind, but Jayashree reportedly put off payment repeatedly.

After a quarrel broke out between the two over the issue, Govind got angry. With the help of his friends, he killed the three who were found in the house when they visited their home and fled with cash and gold ornaments, the police claimed.
