Accused Imran, Hussianar, Chota Sadik, Mohd Sadik

It was alleged that Lancy was hacked to death by these people in a case of mistaken identity, as their intention was to slay a Hindu autorickshaw driver due to some enmity.

Lawyers Belvai Arun Bangera and Arun Shetty, B C Road, contested on behalf of the defendants.

Very bad investigation. Don't blame judgement. A judge is driven by laid down laws. Unfortunately these laws are criminal friendly and death threatening to victims and witnesses. And the credibility of police investigations is well known and wholesomely based on confessions thru third degree torture. Therefore, neither the torture stops-otherwise the police will be blamed for no break through, nor the law is fine tuned by our elected representatives. The status quo suits both of them. The common man and the survivors of the victims continue crying and suffer in pain.

Aek Machhar bi aadmi ko Hijada Bana Sakta Hai. This is the fate of our Legal system which includes Police, Judicial and Politicians. Is thee any justice....? I am questioning the entire Legal Fraternity - Are you people are not ashamed of this injustice done to the victim's family - are you not guilty of the verdict given....? Are you taking the money earned by corrupt way with you when you leave this earth. The sufferings, pain and the tears of this family will be on the heads of the entire legal fraternity who are involved in this case making it come to this conclusion which set the culprits free.

If the accused are the real culprits & managed to escape the punishment due to lack of witness etc.then the best option for them is to seek pardon from the victim's family & to pay the blood money lumpsum or the monthly compensation as suggested by some of the readers. To quote Leslie Mina Dubai, if there is any way to help the victim's family please let us know.....

'Rule of Law' will be applicable to all citizens in India. It is fateful and tragic that, our law has no exactness to provide the justice to the victims. However, if the offenders have real courtesy then let them pay compensation for the fatalities family. Who can wipe the tears of ….?!

Very bad judgement and its defeat of truth. If they have not killed how did he die under unnatural circumstances? Let police arrest real the culrpits, if the acquitted persons are innocent.

This is not a acceptable judgement by the honourable court. Even the accused have murdered by mistaken identity also what they have done is wrong and the guilty should be punished..Because of their mistake a widow should suffer life long and court should understand this bitter truth. All this can be happen in India only...and this verdict will certainly lead to further crimes....

No way can they escape like this as too many mistakes keeps happening, each of these person should pay the wife of Lancy at least Rs. 3,000 every month which sums to total Rs. 12,000 which can help the widow.

It is shame that in our country evident criminals get away with murders without getting any kind of punishment. I am very saddened. The government should safeguard the witnesses so that justice can be served to the victim. It is the fear in the minds of witnesses which holds them back not going for hearing. Lancy I am helpless, I pray to god for your soul to rest in peace and for your beloved family to give them strength to overcome their loss.

This is  what happens in India !!! That is why the crime rate increases !!! If it is tackled like Saudi Arabia, such incidents can be controlled. What is the final result, poor wife lost the husband and the child became an orphan. These murderes are seasoned to conduct more crimes and they were taught the tactics of evading punishment!!!???
