Beltangady, Feb 6: Lack of ruling experience by BJP government has become a curse to the public, said R V Deshpande, president, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee, speaking at the 'Vijayadeeksha Abhiyan', held at the ground in front of taluk office on Thursday February 5.

Speaking on the occasion he said that the chief minister and his government is not able to function well due to the lack of experience. The minister themselves are unaware of any decision. There were no government as bad as the present in the history of the state, he criticized.

The Rajiv Gandhi power plan allotted to Udupi and Dakshina Kannada district is been transferred to Shimoga district secretly said Deshpande.

B Ramanath Rai, president, district congress committee, presided over the function.

MLA K Vasant Bangera, K J George and Vinay Kumar Sorake, former Member of Parliament, delivered the speech on the occasion.

Eight JDS members of taluk panchayat and Diwakar Gowda, president, Koyyur town panchayat joined the congress party on the occasion.

K Harish Kumar, president, Block Congress welcomed the gathering. Keshav Balalu compered the programme. Shahul Hameed proposed vote of thanks.

Congress leaders like Manjunat Bhandary, Bondala Jagannat Shetty, Vijay Kumar Shetty, Arun Kohilo, Waheeda Ismail, Harikrishna Bantwal, Muhammad Badruddin, Ivan D'Souza, Mahabala Marla, Naveen D'Sopuza, Rajashekar Ajri, Moiddin Bava, Mamata Gatti, Sridhar G Bide, Sundar Gowda and Santosh Kumar were present on the occasion.
