B'lore: CM Ticks Off Renuka Chowdhury over Issuing Perfunctory Statements

Daijiworld Media Network - Bangalore (SP)

Bangalore, Feb 9: Chief minister B S Yeddyurappa has asked union women and child welfare department minister Renuka Chowdhury to exercise restraint before issuing indifferent and blatant statements by sitting in Delhi, without properly gathering actual facts.

"Central ministers should behave responsibly before issuing statements. The people have realized the truth behind the assault on the daughter of Kerala MLA in Mangalore. The statement issued by Chowdhury itself lays bare the identities of people who were behind the conspiracy to defame the state government. Five people have already been arrested in connection with the case, he explained.

Even after arresting the youth, the opposition parties continue to chant that the Bajrang Dal and Sri Ram Sena are behind the attack. "They seem to be under the impression that repeating the untrue allegations a hundred times will change them into true ones," he ridiculed.

He expressed his readiness for an inquiry into the incident by a committee of experts formed by the central government. "Please stop unnecessarily accusing the state government. We have no objection if you want to depute a committee and inquire into the episode," he declared.

Chief Minister don't duck the basic question of the "rule of law". Your Home Minister bluffs that the participants of the peace meet in Mangalore overwhelmingly supported "Ombudsman" for the media. The issue of "rule of law" is time and again hijacked with new controversies deliberately let loose. Readers please debate on this and enrich the masses. Hurling insinuations of little relevance to the root causes is what the politicians are yearning for.

You and I debate on foolish issues and fight. Never do we hold our politicians responsible other than during elections. It is too little too late. What effects our lives most is the rule of law. It covers every sphere of our lives. Unfortunately it is in the hands of a "Rogue" Government in our state and an "impotent" Government at the centre waiting for action at all times.

Dear CM, we don’t need any clarification about the goons, which party they belong to. We want you to punish them and eradicate such groups, no matter who they are. Being the head of the state, safety of the people is your responsibility.

Did'nt the CM tell the MLA to be thankful that his daughter is back ? What dis he mean by that ? That the MLA must quitely go by his way as if nothing has happened once his daughter is back ? What if she was a common man's daughter ? Would the goons have let her go without subjecting her to life-time shame ? Thank God people like Renuka Choudhury are there to make a noice. Else, even the Pub-incident would have been hushed-up !

Mr. CM, this time may be people were wrong in guessing or saying in the Case of MLA's daughter. Whoever has done it it is your duty to take action. This time it may not be Bajrangis and Mutaliks. What about the previous instances ???!!!
