Madikeri: Non-bailable Warrant against Pramod Mutalik

Daijiworld Media Network - Madikeri (SP)

Madikeri, Apr 9: As Sri Rama Sene leader Pramod Mutalik failed to appear before the Virajpet court in the district for the second successive hearing in relation to the provocative speech he had allegedly delivered a few years ago, the court of the Junior Magistrate (First Class) Virajpet issued a non-bailable warrant against him on Wednesday April 8.

At the same time, the court adjourned the hearing in the case to April 25. The case was filed by the Gonikoppal policemen against Mutalik on December 15, 2003, alleging that he had delivered a communally inflammatory speech at the Hindu Samajotsav organized then in Gonikoppal.
