Kundpur, Apr 15: Holy Rosary Church here celebrated Easter on a grand scale. Fr Alban D’Souza, parish priest of the local ward, meticulously performed the rituals. The festival came to an end with the performance of variety entertainment by organizations like Konkani Kala Mitra, Sthree Sangatan and other local artistes of repute.

Pascal D’Souza and Ronny Rodriguez led the grand musical evening, wherein Namitha Pais, Marcus Almeida, Sunny Fernandes and Harriet sang several enchanting songs. Sthree Sangatan and several kids together performed two dance dramas called 'Sando' and 'Mando'. Under the direction of Bernard D’Coasta, renowned local playwright, a play titled ‘Aami Serve Eke’ [we are all one] replete with humorous sequences, was enacted to the great delight of the audience.

Victoria D’Souza proposed vote of thanks. Bernard D’Costa welcomed the guests. L J Fernandes compered the programme.
