Daijiworld Media Network - Beltangady (SP)

Beltangady, Apr 16: Seeking votes for the BJP candidate from Dakshina Kannada Lok Sabha seat, Nalin Kumar Kateel at a huge gathering at the Marigudi Maidan here on Wednesday April 15, state president of the BJP D V Sadanand Gowda predicted, that the political polarization process will continue in the post-poll scenario and that the number of BJP legislators in the assembly will swell to 125. He also expected his party to win between 20 and 24 Lok Sabha seats from the state.

Ex-minister Gangadhar Gowda said the Congress Party to which he belonged till recently, was a palace made of wax, where affection, harmony and mutual respect do not get any recognition. Even the Malayali Christians are now up against the Congress Party, he said. Publicity Committee president Rukmaya Poojary and candidate Nalin Kumar Kateel said, that the BJP is getting the support of the youngsters everywhere and solicited votes from the people.

As if to counter the tirade of Janardhan Poojary against the alleged shabby treatment being meted out to the Billavas by the BJP, Rukmaya Poojary dealt in detail about the facilities provided to the Billavas by the BJP and the injustices they faced under the Congress rule.

Many followers of Gangadhar Gowda deserted the Congress and crossed over to the BJP at the venue.

When the media persons sought his reaction to certain advices given to him by Janardhan Poojary about passing personal  remarks on old and sick leaders, he said he would reject them if they were made for gaining political mileage." If they were meant to me personally, I am ready to accept them," he explained.

District in-charge minister Krishna Palemar, MLC Capt Ganesh Karnik, film star Ramakrishna, ex MLA Prabhakar Bangera and other leaders were present.

Now he wants votes from the minorities for his benefits and begging the publics???.

You are right Mr.D V Sadanand Gowda. Your government is only interested in increasing the numbers of MLA's. This is the only achievement of the government since it came to power.
