Daijiworld Media Network - Bangalore (SP)

Bangalore, Apr 16: Two of the Election Observers posted in the state are forced to go back due to compelling reasons. The Central Election Commission is now faced with the task of replacing them with two other observers.

Nandita Chatterjee, IAS officer from West Bengal posted as observer of Haveri Lok Sabha constituency, went back after her husband breathed his last on Wednesday. Atul Sharma, another IAS officer given the responsibility of overseeing election in Shimoga Lok Sabha constituency, fell seriously ill. He also will be going back, necessitating a replacement in his place.
