M'lore: DySPs Take Charge - Jayant Shetty Continues in City on Special Duty

Mangalore, Apr 17: Jayant Shetty, hitherto functioning as the Panambur deputy superintendent of police (DySP), who was transferred as the DySP of Udupi, continues to function in the city on special duty even though he has taken charge at the transferee place. This arrangement has been put in place in view of the important cases like Rashid Malbari arrest, murder of advocate Naushad etc which he has been handling. He will start functioning from Udupi, once there is substantial progress in these cases.

At the same time, Vishwanath Pandit, who was the Udupi DySP, has taken charge as the DySP of the office of the deputy inspector general of police, western range here on Wednesday April 15.

Relating to Naushad murder case, it is gathered that DySP Jayant Shetty interrogated Prashant from Hiriyadka, Uday from Kukkehally and Vinay from Marpally.  Reportedly, Vinay was earlier working as the car driver of an ex-MP.

    Ragha are you sure Jayanth shetty is doing excellent job? (Yah! He was doing good job before long back but not @ present. (Old is gold) How come Senior Pursotham Poojary can be fake? At list we need to respect him for his age and he is very Senior well experienced criminal lawyer in Mangalore/DK.

    Jayanth shetty is doing excellent job, He is the one who can handlle all dangerous criminals in DK.  This poojary has become old giving fake comments.

    Why Jayant Shetty Relating to Naushad murder case? As per Senior Pursotham Poojary he is in black list.
