Bantwal: Muslim League Yet to Decide on Supporting Poojary

Bantwal, Apr 17: The Indian Union Muslim League conference will be held at party district office of Mangalore on Saturday April 18.

The parties position in the Lok Sabha election will be decided in the conference, said the Muslim League leaders at the emergency meeting held at B C Road on Thursday April 16.

The party has not expressed or assured its support towards any party in the meeting conducted at zonal office. The party's commission has not conveyed the support to the congress candidate B Janardhana Poojary after any meeting. The party is unaware of the media statement given by unknown person with out bringing it to the notice of the party.

The activists of the party are bound to the decision to be announced at the district conference to be held, they said.

B Abdul Khader, City Muslim League general secretary, A S Sharif, B C Road zonal president and leaders like B H Muhammad Ismail, M R Shiekh Ismail, Abubakkar Shanti Angady, P Akshay and S H Sahul Hamid were present on the occasion.
