Mangalore, May 13: After a tipper truck rammed into the motor bike in which they were travelling at Kudupu Katte in the city on Tuesday May 12, bike rider Bhaskar and pillion rider Shekhar lost their lives. Both of them were the residents of Iruvail village in the taluk.
The two were moving towards Vamanjoor here, when the tipper hit them from behind. As the two fell to the road, wheels of the tipper moved ahead and crushed them. Bhaskar died on the spot. Shekhar, who suffered grave injuries, was shifted to a hospital, where he died later.
City rural police station personnel have registered a case.
